What If ...? On The Utopian in Art, Architecture, and Design
Exhibition Neues Museum Nürnberg: May 30 - September 20, 2020
On the one hand, the works of art negotiate utopia as an abstract idea or elevate it to the principle of work. On the other hand, they reflect on already existing utopias and initiate a change of perspective as well as for alternative future models. An exhibition about the relationship between people and society, the environment and new technologies, but also about models for urban development, images of states and communities, and the potentials and limits of a globalized world.
